SocialGOV: How Government Engages the Public in Policy Decisions Using Social Media


An evening event atop City Hall in prestigious Bradley Hall to explore social media: How can government & media use online tools to shape policy with their constituencies?  Featured speakers from local and national government and public policy campaigns will speak with media and public representatives and take your questions.

This two hour event includes a panel discussion and Q&A on how government and the public work together via social media.  Participants will share advocacy campaigns, town hall events and official projects using social media to engage the public in pivotal policy decisions.  Streaming media, photos and twitter use are encouraged.
